SF Writers #4: Feedback Week (Again)
Come to exchange feedback with other committed writers
We said, "We meet in 4 week cycles!" But we lied.
There are five Tuesdays in April this year, so the current cycle is going to be 5 weeks long! And since we had such a great feedback session this week, we're going to have another one this week!
The link is here: Feedback Week. You should come with a piece of writing you are working on for your Substack, and you’ll be paired with someone else to exchange feedback and discuss ideas. We’ll be meeting tomorrow, 4/21 at 7:30PM in Hayes Valley. Luma here.
Then there will be some time to write together in focused silence.
After Review Week (next week) we will share what you’ve worked on and published over the last 4 weeks on this Substack (optional). We’re excited to put together the first SF Substackers Collection!

Idea week. Focus is on fleshing out ideas through generative conversations.
Drafting week. Come to develop your first draft alongside other writers and to have that social accountability anchoring your progress.
Feedback week. Come to exchange feedback with other committed writers. Focus is on getting someone invested in your writing.
Review week. Come to share what you’ve published and meet other Substack writers. Focus is on dedicated time to engage with others’ posts and getting your first subscribers/likes/comments.’
